In commemoration of an even dozen Steele Drivin' Mans, I have written a
theme song for our man Fred. His diary entry #12 is coming soon!

This is to the tune of "The Beverly Hillbillies"...

Come and listen to a story 'bout a guy named Fred
Driving day and night is his butter and his bread
The passengers he's carried are variety untold
Suicidal bankers and movie stars of old.

Atomic Man....Bedside Babes....basset hounds

He tries to do his best with the vehicle he has
But he gets a bit frustrated when he steps upon the gas
With many years of practice he has learned to be discrete
As he tries to ignore what goes on in his back seat

Heated arguments...flaring tempers...car phone fights

He speaks when he is spoken to and not much more than that,
But silently absorbs and keeps it all under his hat.
I know he would deny it but I think it must be said
That he wishes he had eyes in the back of his head.

Muffled voices....champagne corks....long bits of silence
